Acrylic on illustration board
7" x 2 1/2"

The coatis of the American tropics and subtropics are social relatives of the raccoon that are often seen abroad by day, foraging for all sorts of organic matter high in trees or on the ground. The white-nosed coati (Nasua narica) is found from the southwestern United States through Central America to Colombia.
